Our neighborhood holds an annual Easter Egg Hunt. The kids love it, not only because they can look for eggs and try to find the "golden egg" (with a Coldstone gift certificate), but also so they can see their friends. Last year Drew didn't attend because it was during his mandatory naptime. This year, we gave him an earlier nap (which explains his rosey cheeks). To my surprise, this year, Drew really wanted to see the Easter bunny. At one point, he started to cry because he couldn't see him! My friend volunteered her husband (who was not happy) to dress up in a bunny costume. He couldn't see out of eyes, and he didn't know what to do. Drew made him feel good and gave him lots of hugs. The kids had a great time, but unfortunately we didn't get that golden egg. Maybe next year. :)
