The Evergreen State Fair

Today on Labor Day, we decided to take the kids to the Evergreen State Fair. It was exactly what I expected it to be. Lots of carnie rides, animals, races, deep fried foods of every kind, and talented art everywhere. This is the first time the kids have been to a fair and loved it.

We saw the sheep's wool being cut.

Nice sand sculpture!

Drew loved the big and fast slide.

Drew loved watching the cards race around the track. He says, "They were not being careful because they were driving sideways." He says he never wants to race cars when he is older. Sweet!

Haley loved watching the horses in action. Everyone enjoyed watching the cowboys lasso the calves and hog tie them. One did it in 9.3 seconds

Are your kids wearing sweaters? :)
Must be the Evergreen state!
Looks like a fun day. We didn't make it to the fair this year.
Have a fun week with family! Wish we could be there.
