The Elephant Seals

This morning, my mom and I took the kids to see the famous Elephant Seals. Their home is along the coast in San Simeon, near Hearst Castle. They have a dedicated beach where they lay out all day. In the winter, they come to shore to have babies. There were a few small ones, but most of them were very large. The kids were fascinated with them. We watched them for over 90 minutes. It was amazing how long the kids could stay still to watch these large creatures.
