Haley turned eight today and had a great day. For a birthday present she participated in Junior Horsemanship Camp. For two days she learned all about horses. She learned about different kinds of horses, how to clean, feed, touch, ride, lead, saddle, bridle and so much more. The first day was a lot of information. Haley ended the day with leading the horse on her own. Then today she was able to ride the horse by herself. She learned how to stop the horse, turn it and how to tell it to go. She loved every minute of it. She couldn't stop talking about it. While she was in camp, I took Drew & Sydney to the Animal Farm to pet the animals. Afterward we went to the spray park and the kids cooled off in the water.
Here is a long video of Haley riding the horse "Fire"

Oh my gosh, where did you find this? Madison has been wanting to learn how to ride a horse for a long time now, this would be perfect for her. That is so great that Haley can do that. Let me know where this is at I will have to get Madison into it next year unless they do some during the winter.
