Goodbye Home

August 8, 2008 we said our last goodbye's to our beautiful home. We have lived there for 3 years. We have done so much to it since moving into it. You name it, we did it. We painted every room, replaced carpet throughout, added a bonus room, tiled all the bathrooms and laundry room, new lighting fixtures, new appliances, new laminate flooring in kitchen and dining room and so much more. It was bittersweet leaving. Bitter because we put a lot of sweat equity into it, love the friends and neighbors and leaving our 2,500 sqft house. On the flip side, it is sweet because we sold it in 10 days, it puts us one step closer to moving back to CA and now we are renters and don't have to "fix" anything in the new rental house. We are so fortunate to rent a house in the same neighborhood within the same ward and school boundaries, and especially the same friends. Goodbye home.
