Ear Piercing

Today Sydney had her ears pierced. Because Haley had hers done for her 5th birthday, she wanted the same. Before we ventured out we double and tripple checked with her to make sure she wanted to go through with it. She agreed and off we went to the mall. She picked out cute pink daisy studs and was doing fine until she sat in the chair. She had a nervous look on her face...and I don't blame her. Having any sharp object go through skin really does hurt! They did both ears at the same time, there was a delayed reaction and then came the cries. She's not too happy at the end of it, but the picture of her later shows she's proud to have her ears pierced. Sydney liked watching the video over and over again and she was able to laugh at herself.
