At Avila Beach, we went to the Marine Discovery Center. They have sea creatures that are local to SLO. The kids explored and touched most all of the sea life there. The highlight was touching the sea stars, sharks and anemones. Thankfully they spent a long time there because it was raining. That was my first time going to the beach in the rain.
