Sydney has been working hard this school year. She was selected after tryouts to represents 1st & 2nd grade in the 30th annual El Dorado County Spelling Bee. The schools that participated went from El Dorado Hills all the way to Lake Tahoe. Sydney skipped lunch recess for the past 2 months to practice spelling. She is so dedicated and a great speller. Her school only missed one word. They got 99/100 (Syd wasn't the one that missed the word). She missed an entire day of school and traveled 45 minutes to be at the spelling bee. I'm so proud of her. Way to go Syd!
