I love the tradition that our elementary school does. At the end of the year, all the children get an award for their hard work and what they have been excelling in all year. Sydney obviously has been great in spelling this year. She got an award from her teacher for spelling and she was also recognized for her spelling by the spelling bee coach. She has had a great 2nd grade, and I think next year will be even better.
