This weekend, as leaders, we took the Young Women of our ward and camped on the Sand Dunes of Bodega Bay. We went to the beach when we got there. Then we set up camp. We had shish-kabobs for dinner and then made smore's, camping style.
We went on a spiritual hike and the girls learned more about the YW values.
The next day, we packed up and then headed to the beach. We spent a couple hours there. The girls froze their tails off in the cold water, while all the leaders watched, thinking, "Glad that's not me freezing in the water."
